Elle 18 Black Out Liner

Hey friends
How are you doing?
I am up with my first review today. Please bear with me for all the drawbacks you find in this post. Criticism invited for improvement.
As a college student, Elle 18 is the most pocket friendly brand I have ever seen. So the last time I went shopping I got this black liquid liner as I am still a beginner for liquid liners. I just can't apply them properly and make a mess of my eyes generally. In fact I am learning the application using this liner.

Quantity: 5 ml
Price: 65 INR

What the product says?

When it comes to eye makeup girls swear by liners, mascara, kohl and eye pencils that highlight a beautiful feature on their face. And when you hear the name Elle 18, no female will give it a miss. Outstanding quality, nice texture and long lasting products are some of the best features of their product. A black eye liner is a must in every make up kit or the eye makeup box.

Packed in fancy girly bottle, Elle 18 black liner is glossy, slightly thick but appropriate liner for application during the day and the night. With rose water extracts it is one of the best liners you can apply to your eyelids without worrying much about your eyes and skin. Unique applicator brush with the lid is the one you will fancy about. It helps you put the liner just in time on your upper or lower eyelids. Black out liner is a definite buy and a must have product.

My View

Well, it's quite a bargain at just 65 INR. It is water resistant though smudges a bit. The applicator is fine but it  could have been better. But it gives a good lineage at such a low price. It's really great for beginners like me. I really wish there were other colours also present in this range but sadly only black is available as of now. It dries off easily as soon as I apply it. It doesn't give the jet black colour I wished for but it certainly gives a nice black matte effect. The liner hasn't got thick since I purchased it in July and has sweet packaging. For me it works well for the price and considering the amount I waste while applying liquid liners.

Please excuse me for the bad photography

Pros
  • Cute packaging.
  • Has rose water.
  • Pocket friendly.
  • Good for beginners.
  • It has a cooling effect.
  • It is waterproof.
  • Doesn't streak.

Cons

  • It smudges.
  • Isn't available different shades.
  • Improvement in applicator is required.
  • I wish if it could be a little more black, the intensity of black shade is needed.

Rating: 3/5

Will I repurchase? I might if I don't get a better one. For learners it's the best.

Hello everyone

Hey girlies...
This is my first post and I am out with another venture on blogosphere. Yes, this is my third blog ;)
God, I can never get over the addiction to blogs. I have written about everything except beauty and girlie gupshup so I thought why not begin writing on these topics too. My posts are going to be random and I am no expert on beauty and stuff but whatever I post here will be put up to the best of my level. I request you to kindly cope up with a learner like me. I hope you guys like this space too as you have been liking my other blogs.

If in case you haven't yet seen my other blogs, you can have a look at them here and here

Love
